drew against rex.............

both are cocky.................
both, seem to be sure....................
that is where comparison ends..............
drew is, well, he is the man to beat contrary to what critics believe........
rex is the gunslinger who shoots first and asks questions later....
not the situation to be in for a superbowl run..........
drew is primed to prevail, rex is hopeful to luck into it.......
defense will play a part, but experience, should prevail...............
defense wins championships, or does it?
it certainly helps, and statistically, the records concur.......
however, we have a saints team that will not go away.......
they should have died long ago....
they really should have......
and with that, in your right mind, you should not disagree........
but, they have not........
and so, all the chat about cold weather, burrrrrrrrr......yawn........
i agree with the coach and players. both teams will be there.....
this is the classic matchup for us.........
forget the early games we went down, such as the ravens, the bengals, the steelers, the panthers, who, lost to us twice on their superbowl run if i'm not mistaken and the redskins..........none of those teams are here......
we are not in the same boat with the bears, but we will be on the same field. we have not gone away til now, and i do not believe we will go away until the bears for now prove me wrong...........
with no snow or ice just cold weather hopeful saints fan,
pick-----------------saints 37 bears 17 smitty

If we are comparing the two quarterbacks, I'd have to say I like my chances with Brees. He's the most dependable. With Grossman, you never know what you're going to get. I'll stick with Drew.

Brees doesn't come accross as cocky to me. I'd say that he's very confident in his abilities and this team. I have, by the way, told many people that Brees is my hero.

This Bears team is certainly capable of winning this weekend but the Saints sure look good. Any given Sunday (almost) any team can win.

Ice my man, where you been?

Celebrating. I actually have 2 bottles of champagne in my fridge. I won't jinx it by telling you why but I'm sure you know why.

You going to the game Sunday?

I was just about to say this. Drew seems to be the furthest thing from cocky. He's had to go through the same thing that Rex is going through right now. For his first couple of years most everyone was saying how much of a bust he was, until the light finally clicked on for him in '04. He does seem to be very confident, but knows that without his supporting cast he wouldn't be where he is right now.

Supremely talented, but humble. Both things Reggie and Drew brought to this team, and it's been contagious.

No man, my tired old azz can't make it. I went to the Philly game though. I'll be here on the beach watching with some new Saints fans. They are Cowboy fans but pulling for our boys now. I have to keep them in line.

Let's not forget the other guy in this equation, Deuce. You can't forget him.

I may have to be picking up some champagne soon as well. It's for ... Valentine's Day, that's it ;-).
