Ive got a question....if donte doesnt sign with philly, what would you guys think about bringing him back?

with horns contract he might be released and i wouldnt mind seeing donte on the other side of colston. assuming he doesnt get hurts for the 100th time.

seriously, I see him going to the Raiders. Oakland will land a great QB soon out of desperation and the stock of receivers will rise and I could very well think Donte could end up there by his choice. If he does decide to leave Philly for no other reason than $$$ he better stay put with whomever he signs with because it won't look good on him to jump ship every year to chase the Benjamins, hmmm?

My hope is Stallworth signs with the Eagles...that way the Saints get a third and not a fourth! Indications are the Eagles are negotiating with Stallworth on his remaining with the club.

Rumor has it that the Raiders are considering sending Moss and Porter along with their first round pick to the Falcons for Vick and the Falcons first round pick. I guess AB is out! LMFAO

Phiilly will sign him. He'll miss a couple weeks of training camp cause of his hammy, and he'll probably miss at least 1/3 of the season because of it. We'll be ahead of the game if we get a practice squad player with that 3rd pick even.

The consensus among Eagles fans and players is that the team should bring back Donté Stallworth next season. The growing belief, however, is that another NFL team will give the wide receiver a big contract that the Eagles will be unwilling to match. Stallworth said the Eagles don't necessarily have to match the highest offer.

If it helps signing him, I would be willing to kick in a Jefferson to the Eagles! :lol:

I pretty much agree with the SI article that some team will sign him to a mega deal, and perhaps Philly will not want to match it. Despite the injuries, Donte is a true play maker. I think a few teams will be very interested in him because of that. Perhaps, look for Minnesota, Green Bay, or Atlanta taking a serious look at him.

I'm probably going to reign in a $#!@storm for this one, but I like Stallworth. I have liked his attitude, and play making abilities since day one. I wish we would have kept him, because I truly think that his best playing days, are going to get going very soon. I would not mind at all if we resigned him. I'm sure Fred Thomas wouldn't mind having him on our side again.
