Montana to tutor Brooks?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; In an earlier post I questioned AB\'s commitment to work hard and be the best quarterback that he can be. Looks like I\'m wrong. Good. What he is doing in the off-season is exactly what I expect him to do. ...

What he is doing in the off-season is exactly what I expect him to do. Work on his weak areas, study film and get the body back to last season\'s form. \"Lead by example\" and show them you are ready to give up something for the success of the team.
The leadership seminar - maybe it\'ll help some. To what extent you can teach someone to be a leader - I don\'t know. But you can\'t say he isn\'t trying. And that\'s all I want him to do for now.
Sounds to me like they are bringing in Montana to teach him how to avoid obvious traps and read the defense a little better, not to teach him leadership skills. Although Montana\'s vision on the field is hard to teach, I think the Falcons got the perfect tutor on how to minimize errors.

I believe in Brooks. He may not be the most vocal guy and I know everyone, including me, has a problem watching him walk off the field after throwing an int with a smile on his face but he is somewhat proven. He can do the job. He does read defenses. He can make the hard throws. He can run. He can manage the clock.
With all of that said he can also get better. Bowman is new to me and I admit I don\'t know that much about him yet. But I\'d hate to see anyone be too quick to yank AB out of a game or starting position just because he made a mistake and there is a Bowman on the bench. If Bowman is as good or possibly better than AB let it work itself out in training camp. Lets find out who our quaterback is and who the back up is. I don\'t want AB, or Bowman which ever the case, having to continuously looking over thier shoulder. If the decession is made that AB is the QB then support him all the way. Injury is another matter all together.
