in all the excitement of almost getting to the superbowl, (DAMNIT) i bet most of you if not all of you including myself completely forgot or never even thought about what prime time games we'll be playing come the new season. this should be the first time in history we'll have the most prime time games because of our record.......so, how many monday nights, thursday nights, and sunday nights do you think we'll get? smitty

I know ssmitty. I was thinking about this too. respect. I think alot will have to do with FA and the draft also. No one had us in the running for Drew last year and then Tommy boy stepped up and blew them all away. Then Houston blew away anyone still standing by passing on Bush. loved it. If we do the same thing in FA and have another good draft, granted picking 27 is not the same as 2 we should be king of TV land. Hate to say this, I really do, we maybe america's "sweetheart" team again next year also. The media may not let it go.
MNF - 2 times
TNF - 1 to 2 times
SNF - 1 to 2 times
At the least 4 to the most 6. I would rather the 4 at the most. Hate to have that many short weeks. If this was more of a veteran team then it is okay but even then those teams have a hard time dealing with it. We are not including the Sunday Night games here either.
Are there rules in place as to how many short weeks a team has to deal with in meeting the media demand for a team?

I hate that crap, makes me have to stay up in th emiddle of the night to watch the games, which I will do. Personally I like it when the Saints play early because then its 7pm over here.

hagan, 4-6? with the flex schedule of the networks now, we could be on tv just about every game if we come out shooting...............think about that.........smitty

I don't like it as much. I'd rather us play early on TV. That would be so many short weeks and our team wouldn't be as fresh. We need the rest and the gameplans to work, I don't want us to get embarressed on TV like Baltimore did us

just trying to be reasonable. there are other teams in the NFL. as for flexing us to primetime on sunday during the day that is fine. i am more concerned with the games that effect the time inbetween games.

Getting that HOF game spot w/ the Steelers is a good sign. And with Brees and Bush we've got the household-name recognition needed to get those prime time slots.

I think 4 ~ 6 should be about right. When I was stationed in Korea, I'd have to get up at 2 AM to watch football. You just got to sacrafice if you want to see a game.

Because I live in sweden. The Saints games arn't regulary broadcasted here. We have one channel showing 2 NFL games a week. They seem to pick which games to show randomly. I'm watching everything through the Internet. Besides, I din't think we have TiVo in sweden just yet.
