Blalock has the most value. As far as guards go, it is tough to draw up a better specimen than Justin Blalock. He is a very good athlete for an interior lineman, and is very good in pass protection. He can adjust to a defenders moves, and keep his quarterback clean. In the running game, he has the power and strength to drive players off the ball and open up major running lanes. Blalock may also bring the versatility to play at guard or right tackle in the NFL. He has the talent to be a pro bowler inside at guard, and most teams will draft him with that idea in mind.
Dallas addressed problem at S in round 1 and still get their man to help protect Romo.

I'll select Quentin Moses DE Georgia.

His stock is fading but if he can add 15 to 20 pounds, he can be an every down DE. He has good pass rushing ability, which is a need for the Lions. Since they franchised Redding, they move him to DT. According to ESPN, Moses is intelligent and very athletic, and seems to the perfect compliment to James Hall

3 Cleveland Browns - Marcus McCauley - CB, 6-1, 200, 4.36 Fresno State
Gary Baxter’s double knee surgery has made it dire. He wont be back for an estimated 18 months and there is not a true lock-down corner on the roster that has to play in a division with receivers like Chad Johnson and Hines Ward. McCauley is the prototypical CB at 6'1" 200 lbs. with speed and coverage skills to go with it. He has good strength and is a solid open field tackler. Displays good change of direction, backpedal and overall technique. One of the better man-to-man shutdown corners in college football. Disrupts the receiver in the first five yards. Can cover the big guy, and the shifty or fast guy.Ran a 4.31 during his junior pro day in front of the NFL scouts. Do not be fooled by the lack of stats, as team's avoid his side of the field like the plague.

4 Tampa Bay selects Brandon Meriweather S, Miami... They need help on D... No wide receiver fits here at this pick. Meriweather is a potential first rounder, and if an all out brawl breaks out on the field he packs a mean stomp move.

With the 37th pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals select Aaron Ross.

The Cardinals have a solid corner in Antrel Rolle, but lack another playmaker on the opposite side to successfully implement their Cover 2 schemes. Eric Green and David Macklin have both failed to live up to expectations, and the Cardinals need an explosive playmaker who can shore up the pass defense. Enter Aaron Ross (6'0 1/2", 196 pounds) from the University of Texas. Ross has decent size for a cornerback, but what makes him such a good player is his ability to make big plays. Blessed with good reactions, Ross is known as a ballhawk; he led UT this past season with 6 interceptions and 19 PBUs. But don't be fooled by Ross' excellent ball skills, the guy also packs some pop in his hits; he was third on the team with 80 tackles during his senior season. Surely the Cardinals would have liked to have gotten a little help at Left Offensive Tackle early in the draft, but with nobody left on the board warranting such a pick, the Cardinals are extremely satisfied with what could be the steal of the draft in the second round.

6 New York Jets - Greg Olsen- 6057, 254, 4.46, Miami (FL)
By drafting Anthony Spencer earlier, the Jets fill the void left by John Abraham and can now get Pennington another weapon to work with. Olsen with his 4.4 speed and soft hands will help turn Pennington short dump offs into long gains. He would be the perfect complement Coles and Cotchery on the outside. The Jets did not expect this first round talent to still be here so they delighted that he fell into their laps. Though runningback could also be an option here, they'll be able to find a quality guy to rotate with Leon Washington in the third round.

7 Minnesota Vikings - Zach Miller - TE, 6043, 256, 4.89, Arizona St.

With all of the top-tier receivers gone and no other absolute steals in sight, this is probably the next best choice to help kickstart the Vikings offense. TE Jermaine Wiggins is a great underneath receiver, but Coach Childress would like to also have a more athletic tight-end that can burn defenses with routes down the field.

Texans have a good corner in Dunta, but put alot on their CB's shoulders with a not so hot D-line, especially in a pass happy division. Houston's numbers are incredible, and his l;ast name is Houston, hes gotta be drafted a Texan

9 Miami Dolphins - Buster Davis, MLB, Florida State

Junior is getting older and is going to be replaced soon, if not now. Davis has the size and skills to become another Ray Lewis. Maybe a reach for some at this point in the draft but when all is said and done, will become the steal of the 2007 draft.

10 Atlanta Falcons - Jarvis Moss, DE, 6-6, 255, 4.63, Florida
The Falcons need to be wise and upgrade Abraham's backup spot as that person figures to get plenty of playing time when Abraham takes his usual spot in the injury report and with defensive end Patrick Kerney voided his contract htis an area of concern. The Falcons think long term and go with Jarvis Moss. Moss being a tremendous athlete who combines good height, long arms, and speed and quickness into one scary package. He gets off the snap very quickly and gets the offensive linemen struggling to catch up before they can get good position on him. Moss is able to get wide on linemen and also has a very good swim move to get inside. He is also able to juke the linemen using a variety of head and body fakes. He excels in pursuit along the line and is adept at locating the ball. Why did he fall this far?

11 San Francisco 49ers - Tim Crowder DE, 6035, 272, 4.69, Texas

The Niners need to add more talent at the defensive end position to generate some kind of pass rush. Defensive end Bryant Young will turn thirty-five within a month and 2006 sixth-round pick Melvin Oliver hasn’t played well enough to ensure his job. There’s also a significant lack of depth at the end position. Crowder is strong against the run, using his size and playing strength to win battles on the line. He is a physical player who plays hard through the whistle. He isn't a fast player, but he has good feet and agility for his size, allowing him to stunt, cover in short areas, and flow to the ball effectively. He is an improving pass rusher who still has some upside left in that area. He is a smart, coachable player who also excelled in the classroom.

With the addition of Dockery and Whittle to strengthen their offensive line through free agency, the Bills can now afford to give Losman another weapon on offense. Lee Evans is a great WR and Peerless Price had a decent '06, but Gonzalez would be the perfect complement to Evans on the other side. The Bills would have loved it if Zach Miller or Greg Olsen fell here, but they're gone. Scott Chandler is an intriguing prospect, but Gonzalez in this slot is too good to pass up.

13. St. Louis Rams - Aaron Rouse S, 6'4", 215, 4.40, Virginia Tech

I don’t think the Rams are worried about DT or DE as much as the rest of us. I can see some shuffling coming with Wroten, Glover and a few others on the defensive line. The Rams have already drafted Willis, MLB out of Ole Miss and they won’t miss with this pick either. Rouse has the SIZE and SPEED to cover anyone in the NFL. There could an attitude problem but I think he’ll respond when the Rams stick their necks out to pick him here.

14 Carolina Panthers select Arron Sears OG/OT Tenn. I think the Panthers have gotten away from the running game and put the game into Delhomme's hand, which is a mistake. Sears should immediately start at guard, but could move to right tackle in a couple of years, potentially giving the Panthers a couple of solid bookend tackles.

Pittsburg Steelers - Ryan Kahil, C, 6027, 299, 4.96, USC

Depth in the interior line has become an issue for the Steelers, left guard Alan Faneca has hit thirty, center Jeff Hartings will be thirty-five next year, and Ryan is a very solid prospect. An All Pac-10 performer in 2005 and 2006. Ryan was the unquestioned leader of the USC line last season. A 3 year starter who didn't miss one start in that span. A great techinician with excellent footwork. Ryan is very quick off the snap and to his assignment. Scouts loved his easy going attitude and solid workouts at the combine. He also wowed scouts with a 4.96 40 time, the 3rd fastest among offensive linemen. He solidified himself as the top center prospect in the process.

Grant Wistrom is nearing the end of his career, and Bryce Fisher is a non-impact player. A young pass rusher is desperately needed. Victor has an elite blend of size and speed for his position. Sheds well and can make plays versus the run. Plays with good awareness and is a good up field player. Great pass rusher and solid tackler with good range and will make plays in pursuit. Good bull rusher. Has a solid arsenal of pass rush moves and closes well. His agility and footwork allow him to stunt and even drop back into coverage. Great intangibles of smarts and a hard work with tons of experience against top competition give him a lot of upside.

25 New York Jets - Jonathan Wade - CB, 5100, 190, 4.36, Tennessee

The Jets must find a dominant, shutdown cornerback. Andre Dyson provided stability on left side, but Justin Miller, David Barrett, Drew Coleman and recently re-signed Hank Poteat all took turns at right cornerback, none with much success. Wade has the potential to be one of the real game-changers of this draft; an upside the Jets will struggle to pass on. Wade is certainly raw but his combination of sprinter speed, game-breaking ability and frame can't be coached. Wade is a smooth, long-armed athlete, with good hands and is developing diagnostic skills.
