Drew Stanton, QB Michigan State

How does everyone feel about him in the late rounds? I have not kept up on what has happened with him, but he went from being the 3rd QB taken in the draft to a 4th or 5th rounder. He is the prototypical QB Tall, Strong arm, and mobile. With Brees mentoring him he could be a great number 2 guy.

I like the guy, but late.

There are a lot of of guys we can sign as a backup if we are unhappy with Martin. Brees is here at least 5 more years, so we shouldn't stress about his replacement just yet.

I would rather get some depth that can contribute on special teams.

he has taken a bit of a beating. people are questioning his smarts. I hope he stays some what hot. he might be a the reason for a trade down in round 2.

With the way he fell apart last year, I think everyone sees him as another Kyle Orton...and that's not a good thing.

I'd say he'd fit in well down in Tampa.

I had him as the second best quarterback prior to last years disappointing season. Quinn, Stanton, and then Russell. It's amazing how much his stock dropped in one year.

I like Drew Stanton. Has all of the intangibles and with some good coaching and playmakers around him, he could develop nicely. I see him as either the third or fourth best QB. But I do not think getting him late is an option. He very well could be gone by the second.

But if we could get him, he fits nicely IMO.

I'll pass on any QB's before the 5th.

We might not have glaring needs, but we are thin. If a lineman or WR goes down, then we are suddenly the Browns.

I'd rather draft for depth than get a guy who is going to hold a clipboard for at least 5 years.

Let's wait for Booty, Brohm...
