I've said it before, I'll say it again, NO on Peterson. Unless he falls to like the fourth round, then pick him, but not in the first or second. We don't need him, it would be a wasted pick.

Precisely. Exactly how much money do we want to spend on our backfield? W/ Duece, Bush, and Brees, we can't afford anything else.

oh smitty thanks for the correction. you are so much better at posting on a message board. god that must just thrill you. you are um, poetic in nature. you should think about furthering your obvious talents and write for a paper or magazine.

ok that said, no one said anything about drafting the guy. i just wonder if it changes the draft a little bit.

I beg to differ sir, with all due respect, the prospect of drafting Peterson has come up more than once in the last few weeks. In fact, there should still be a thread on here somewhere, where someone posed the question of drafting him. So, seeing this post, it was not that far of a stretch to think that the subject had come up once more. Thus the response, that I gave.

paul you can beg all you want. that don't make no never mind to me. i was referring to the fact that i had posted that it may make him drop. my post on that was not at all in regards to drafting him as a result. so thanks though

hagan i tell ya he scares me with all those injuries. i know what ya mean by him being hard to pass because of where he would have been without the injuries. but he might be a broken player at this point. i don't know but he may fall as a result. can't really say

Remember Willis McGahee? I'm sure everyone saw his leg bend 90 degrees backwards (link below). People said he wouldn't be able to walk without a limp. Well, he runs okay now.

I agree that we don't need another marquee RB right now, but I just don't see how you can pass up that much talent. This is all moot, though, he's still going top 10.

It doesn't matter... it's NOT going to happen. Hell is not going to freeze over.
