SSW Rumors (Barry Sanders / TE@FB)

In perhaps one of the wildest rumors I have managed to stumble across, there are whispers that the Saints and Lions talked briefly about the possibility of trading the rights of Barry Sanders to the Saints for a 7th round pick.
Another rumor that is beginning to circulate is one that included Saints tight ends David Sloan and Ernie Conwell. In an effort to try and increase the productivity of the fullback position, the Saints are toying with possibly having one of these two play a few snaps at the fullback position. While this is simply a rumor, it has been brought up numerous times and would provide the Saints with another receiving threat.

Interesting rumors
Sanders: No way he can still play. I'd be shocked if he wanted to be a back-up anyway.
Fullback: Didn't Conwell line up at fullback some when he was with the Rams?
I'm surprised they mentioned Sloan though. I thought the intent was to get the fullback more involved in the passing game.
