Here\'s the deal. The Bucs won the Superbowl and the Saints beat the Bucs twice last year. The goal is to win the Superbowl, which the Bucs did. There\'s nothing we can do or say that is going to change that.

There is also nothing that Buc\'s fans can say or do to change the fact that the Saints were the better team last year when we beat the Bucs.

Fact is, that the Saints have the Bucs number. We beat the bucs every way possible last year. Offense, Defense, and Special teams all out performed the Bucs in the perspective areas.

The ring does nothing to change the facts that the Bucs could not beat the Saints last year.

The Saints are clearly a team on the rise, while the Bucs with their problems at running back and off the field problems with the the police are clearly in trouble this year.

The only thing the Bucs have going for them this year is most of their games are played on Sundays, which is the day that trustees get out of jail for good behavior.

First off what am I losing? I mean \"winning\" on an internet BB chat is like winning the special olympics, Sure you won, but your still retarted. :)

As far as the Bucs being Champs, they are and will REMAIN champs until another is crowned next February, so that ring means they are champs for the entire season. You\'ll see when the season starts and they still refer to the Bucs as \"The Champs\".

And as far as lumm0x\'s stat, who cares, the Bucs had an atrocious year running the ball so the Saints efforts in that area were nothing special. It was not until the playoffs that the Bucs averaged over 100 yds. rushing per game anyway. And my comment about Alstott was more for the enjoyment of watching him break tackles, and was not touting the teams run game for the whole year. You took it that way.

I am looking forward to the Bucs second season under Grudens offense. Like Jon said after lifting the Lombardi, \"you ain\'t seen nothing yet\" . It\'s going to be a tough season but since Denver did it no other team since has had the best chance of a repeat than the Bucs. Can they do it with a suspect run game again? maybe maybe not. All I know is you Saint fans cried all last year that Gruden couldn\'t do it (win the SB) in his fiirst year. I expect your predictions about him this year to be wrong again. You got a nice team but IMO until you get rid of Haslett at the helm you won\'t get over the hump. Kind of like how Dungy built the Bucs up to a point he could no longer get them over.

The Saints lack motivation and focus from thier leader and without that the end of the season brings, well the end of the season.

What your loosing is credibility.

If it comforts you to think that the superbowl ring really means anything this year or it will help the Bucs chances of repeating, then, by all means, knock yourself out!!

Actually, my initial reaction to the news was, “#$&!�. Then I heard what they gave up for him, which helped ease some of the pain, not all, but some.

Old joke, old joke, OLD JOKE!!!!!!- Must I surf for hours through the archives to find the picture that went along with this quote? It’s sooooooo 1998. And don’t mind BillyC, he has a competitive nature, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Then later…

When the fur starts flying and it gets hot in the kitchen, do you always assume that people are getting “their undies in a bunch�? Don’t start backpeddling, your last post was probably your best, although by your own terms, “You really need some lessons on how to smak.� As long as everyone remembers this is all in good fun. :P

Not to take anything away from Lords insults, and if I were you, I\'d pick the ones I like the best too. :D But, B&B\'s insults were classic. If it were a boxing match, it would be a standing 8-count!!

Hello Batwood; my Bucs brethen! Thank me for your relative easy transition into the board. You\'ve introduced yourself far greater that some \"obnoxious\" person I know.

The guys here are cool actually; they love their team as we love the Bucs. As I can tell from your sig, you love the Bucs......
