Heard about this yesterday. Not a single athlete has been able to do what Irvin has- won back all the fans he lost during his drug days, simply by being on TV.
I see no problem with it. I like the guy. Could be worse (read Brent Musburger).

I like my drunk neighbor Chuck, but I don\'t want to hear him on ESPN.

Have you seen him on BDSSP? He\'s horrible!
ESPN now has what, 14 studio guys?

I like Irvin too, and he did pick the Saints to win it all last year.

I dont really care for Irvin, but atleast its not Deion Sanders. I dont think I could handle both him and Stewart Scott. Every time I hear Scott say \"BOO YEAH\" I go ballistic and wish I could punch him right in his frickin nose.

I watched Stu and Kevin Frasier (who I like a lot) on a Sunday night Sportscenter a few weeks back and I swear it sounded like a bad segment on Yo MTV Raps. I turned it off.

Yo, dog... I\'m too damn old to learn a new language. Lets keep it in english please.

Very good point. I cannot stand Deion, and when Scott first came on the scene, I liked him, but since it\'s all going to his head, he\'s become a victim of his fame. One more thing Stewart- never...ever...no matter if it appears to be a good idea at the time, never show Madden up on camera- it\'s low and you will lose popularity among the masses.

The best pre-game show for the NFL is fox. Bradshaw, J.B., Howie, and Johnson are likeable people, and they know what they are talking about. I like a few on ESPN as well, but Stewart Scott and Chris Berman ruin it for me.

I could care less if there are two monkeys up there, as long as the can show the highlights and give me the scores.

Therein lies the problem. They start clowning around, laughing at unfunny stuff and killing time yelling and screaming, instead of talking football pregame and postgame. I don\'t need to hear 10 minutes of shouting about how Mort needs some more colorful suits or maybe a cool hat as they\'re high fiveing each other and calling each other their Dogs. BOO-YAH Dog, or whatever the fwck he says...

Maybe ESPN can provide english translation via closed caption for audience members over 15 years old.
