IMO, that was a legal hit. He didn't lead with the helmet

NO NO... that was helmet to helmet and you could argue the point of hitting a defensless player.

I for one don't want to see Horn get hurt right at the end of his career, I hope he finishes his career healthy and returns home to retire a Saint..

It was not a deliberate illegal hit. Caldwell had possesion and the job of a safety is to do whatever it takes to get that ball out of there. He was not a poor defensless reciever. He had the ball and made a "football move" oward the endzone. I would agree with you if the ball were overthrown and Kevin still jacks him up like that. Then it would be different.

How in God's name can you guys wish bad things on players that are no longer with us? That's just plain bad. These guys gave us a lot and now you want them hurt. That's just sick!

The NFL rules clearly states that a player cannot hit another player helmet to helmet, I agree though that Caldwell did make a "football move" but a player still can't make that type of hit according to the NFL and that's why a flag was thrown..

I don't want to see this kid injure any other player, but I do want to see some big hits from Him and Harper that will make recievers and TEs alike skerred to hit the middle of the field.

I'll go one step further and say that I don't like to see any player get seriously hurt, knock the snot from their nose yes but seeing a player lay on the field for more than a minute is not something any football fan wants to see, so I thought...
