Jeff Duncan, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports for the Sporting News that New Orleans Saints CB Fred Thomas is projected to start at cornerback opposite CB Dale Carter this season. Early speculation was veteran CB Ashley Ambrose was going to be the starter after he signed with the team this off-season.
