Vick's home burglarized, ODD????

Report: Vick's Virginia home was burglarized

NFL.com wire reports

ATLANTA (June 5, 2007) -- Michael Vick's house in Virginia that has been the subject of a dogfighting investigation was broken into between May 7 and May 18, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on its Web site.

Three plasma televisions -- 62 inches, 42 inches and 32 inches -- two floor buffers, a wet/dry vacuum, an upright washer and dryer, and a leather sofa valued at $17,550 were stolen, the newspaper said, citing a police report.

The lone person working in the Surry County sheriff's office late on June 4 said he did not have access to the report. After-hours calls to the office and home of prosecutor Gerald G. Poindexter were unanswered.

"I don't think it had anything to do with possible evidence," in the dogfighting case, Poindexter told the newspaper. "I think it was some feuding over the spoils."

According to the police report, someone entered the home through a side window and an attempt had been made to break in the front window. The alarm was not working

I smell something stinky!

The report says nothing about the 30 dead dogs buried on the property or that now there maybe some reasonable doubt if the dead dogs were brought up at trial.

They buried the dogs on the property during the breakin's your honor, said Vick. They buried the dogs on the property after the house was sold, your honor, said Vick. They were trying to frame me, said Vick. The water bottle was for my expensive jewelry, your honor, said Vick.

I hope everyone see's where this is going!

Seventeen thousand dollar sofa???!! Were people allowed to sit on it? Did it have a flowered bedspread thrown over it to protect it? Was there a 'no popcorn and nacho rule' for it? Need to know these things. And who breaks into a house and takes time to steal floor buffers and a shop-vac? You'd need a moving van to haul away all of that stuff.....intriguing.

No kidding...not to mention it's an extreemly well documented crime scene. That's almost as dumb as robbing the police station. The only guy I know of that is dumb enough to do that is New Mexico (Marcus).
