Bucky Brooks > Inside The Nfl...top 25 Recievers.

"25. Marques Colston, New Orleans Saints: Coming off a surprising rookie season, Colston will have to shake the "one-year wonder" label. A raw route runner who relies on his size and athleticism to win one-on-one match-ups, he'll have it a little tougher during his second season. Now viewed as the lead receiver in the Saints' offense, Colston will face the opposition's top corner and coverage, all designed to take him out of the game. Though he will continue to be Drew Brees' favorite target, his production may not match his rookie season totals."

"This cat has no idea what it means to be Drew Brees go to guy. I don't think he paid any attention to the way our offense operates, you can't just focus on Colston because Drew will spread the ball around and make you focus your defense elsewhere, there's just too many other options, especially if Eric Johnson stays healthy and can keep the safety preoccupied. I know he will garner a little more attention than last year, but Coach Payton is a lil too creative to allow a defense to dictate the flow of his offense, trust me Marques Colston is going to have a big year. Having this kid rank #25 is ridiculous, especially when you look at the guys he have ranked ahead of him, I posted the link below so you can see for yourself, these guys sometimes have no clue, really a joke.

Excuse me but a rookie who hasn't played a down is ranked ahead of him totally makes no sense. If you have so much respect for Drew and our offense how can you show so little respect for the go to reciever. Second year player are not, with his numbers after missing only two games he deserves better than that. I'm not saying he should be in the top 5 but 25th out of 32 teams. No way.

Sports Illustrated. So easy, even I could write it! :p

...that crap doesn't matter... who cares how they rank people before the season even begins. "THAT IS WHY THEY PLAY THE GAME".

That list seems about right to me.

I do not want Colston to be the go to guy. I want the other WR to step up their game and give Colston fair coverage. This is going to be key. #2,#3 and TE will have to play better this year.

Oh Bucky...you silly, silly man...

Teams can shadow Colston with their best CB all they want. He can still reach over or body-shield most. He can't be jammed at the line, either. If Meachem pans out, then we'll have a tandem like Det, with DH and Matrix running wild. That would be lovely.

Let's not forget about the one X-FACTOR no other team has, REGGIE BUSH. You can talk about the other WRs, but the main reason they can't double up on Colston is because Reggie will kill them, Coach Payton knows this and so does the Defensive coordinators. The Saints offense is so unique in the fact that Reggie poses such a mismatch for a defense that it is hard to focus your attention on an individual, if you put a safety over Colston who covers Bush out of the back field, and you take out your linebackers and play nickle and dime packages, DEUCE will murder you up the middle. So when it comes to the Saints offense, I guess you just have to pick your poison, cause sooner or later they'll gonna get cha.
