This cannot be serious?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; The Saints could bring in competition for backup Jaime Martin during camp. The pickings are slim, but ex-Saints Aaron Brooks and Todd Bouman remain available. Jason Fife and Tyler Palko are battling for third-string duties. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/Home_NFL.aspx...

Rotoworld is just speculating.

The Saints could bring in competition for backup Jaime Martin during camp.
We could do a lot of things. We could work out a trade for Lance Briggs. We could go get Darwin Walker. We could trade for Michael Vick.

In there words of Buford T. Justice.....

I've actually heard that Aaron Brooks is a candidate for filling a roster spot for the Falcons. Because it's ESPN Insider I'll just post the quote:

Brooks on the radar
<Jul. 23> The Steelers recently had Brooks in for a visit, according to John Clayton.
What will be interesting to see is if the Falcons contact Brooks. Brooks clearly is one of the best quarterbacks on the street and will be one of the first players called if a team loses a quarterback to injury. Falcons owner Arthur Blank is supposed to decide late Tuesday if he's taking any disciplinary stand on Michael Vick, who will miss the opening of camp because of his dogfighting indictment. Brooks is Vick's cousin.

If AB is the "BEST" QB availible, that is a really crappy list.

I am not buying it... don't see us with more than 4 QB's in camp. The only way I see us bringing brooks back is if Palko just isn't even close to being an NFL QB and I seriously think thats the case. Fife I'd like to see give Martin a run for his money though.

after reading that I'm glad we didn't make a move on Briggs
that’s a huge price tag for one season

like I said in another thread about him
he is one hell of a player but he would come at to high of a price

I know. I was implying that it wasn't going to happen.
