Larry Holder, of the Sun Herald, reports New Orleans Saints WR Robert Meachem (knee) went through all of the workouts Thursday, July 26. He is recovering from knee surgery. Head coach Sean Payton said he is a work in progress.

Larry Holder, of the Sun Herald, reports New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton has not been happy with the conditioning of DT Hollis Thomas. Payton said he has lost some weight since June but he is still too heavy.

how serious is usuma's injury? anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

I read somwhere that none of the injuries were bad. No one should miss much time.



However, he reported that some players did suffer minor muscle pulls -- Jon Stinchcomb, Will Smith and rookie Usama Young. Still, the coach said they're not expected to miss significant practice time.
