Ok, say you're the head coach of the Saints. You're down to final cuts. You have all three Thomas's still on the roster, Hollis, Fred and Pierre. You can only keep one. Who would it be and why?

Hollis...you have to have depth and size at DT. While he is not in the best of shape, he does provide the most value to the team.

That's a really tough question...

Fred's out because of the David signing and the fact that there are two promising young rookies out there at CB.

Hollis is over weight now, but he's a proven commodity at DT and as long as he lays off the inhalers is a big part of the starting D.

Pierre has shown a lot of promise, but there's still 26 and 25 and only so many balls to go around.

I'm keeping HT.

Fred Thomas: I try to give him so leeway each week, but if you noticed he is still getting burnt; not deep but on curls and flys. Bye Bye

Pierre: Only because you said choose one. Because he is playing great and I would keep him instead of stecker.

HOLLIS is a Beast! O. K. he is a lil overweight now but he is our best run stuffer in my eyes. Once he's in shape watch out o-lines.

I think Hollis Thomas---We have a potenet offense and good runningbacks already, but I sure like Pierre Thomas.

Did you guy's watch Hollis against KC? He couldn't even stand up. I'm fat, but he is far to fat. I'm concerned he'll have a heart attack as big as he is. I like him but he's just way to fat.

I understand that he is fat, but even still, he has a role on this team. Pierre Thomas has been a big surprise and i am happy for him, but realistically he has no role with us. Fred Thomas, who i dont dislike as much as most of you, doesnt really have role either other than a step too slow, overpaid dime back. That is why the answer was easy to me.

Don't get me wrong, I like Hollis too but if you're to fat to perform your job, you need to do something about it. It just looks to me like he could have done more. Right now he's not helping anyone. I guess we'll have to wait till halfway through the season for him to earn his money,when maybe he'll be slim enough to do his job. I guess you can tell,i'm more that just a little disappointed in him. Bad thing is I really do like him. He can be very good for this team. Whether he will or not remains to be seen. I sure hope he does.

Hollis, that was easy. The man is big no doubt. You`d think after 2-a-days in Jackson at 110 degrees he`d be at or below his target weight.

Hollis. He's the only nose tackle on the team aside from Clancy. Leisle has shown nothing at the NT position and isn't fast enough to play the under.
