What if the Saints were to cut Brees and a few others..

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Let's say Brees, Bush, Colston, Henderson, Copper, Scott F, Grant, Will Smith and Mike M., how many teams would go after them soon as thay were cut?, a lot of teams would jumped at most of these guys, my point ...

I feel that they could turn it around starting with the Panthers in two weeks...
I'm still positive on a good season but it might take a couple of weeks to get turned around.

Re: What if the Saints were to cut Brees and a few others..

Sure but would they start? That my friend would be the real question and no one can really answer that because it would depend on the team that would pick them up.

Now I will venture out on a limb and say if they did manage to start they will be more productive because any other team in the NFL has FREAKIN O-LINE and D-LINES!!!

I don't care about the talent in the back fields if you don't have lines blocking for them you get diddley! Bush would be awesome if he had freakin blockers. GET ME AN OLINE ALREADY.

I agree with you on the blocking but the point I was trying to make is that the Saints have a lot of talent on the team but still can't execute.

Every announcer or sports writer is quick to call bush over rated. but the truth is if we put reggie on the trading block 31 teams would be calling us. Our role players are the problem, not our skill players.

IT has nothing to do about executing... you can't block you can't execute. How about executing a damn block? They can't.

You can have all the talent in the world in the backfields but if they aren't on the lines you are going to get your ass handed to you.

I agree with you Euph, the lack of blocking is what's holding the Saints to low scoring..
If Brees was to be traded to the Colts I wouldn't think the Colts would miss a beat...
The offense has big problem but it's not really Brees fault as to who their not successful...

bull, it has everything to do about executing......
and that's where everything is falling apart....
lack of execution.........
you don't go through the reps day in and day out
and believe you're not going to perform or execute
what is drilled in you day in and day out....
but it happens.......
and when you don't perform or execute, well,
here we are............0-3...........
i still believe if they execute, we are right back
where we left off last season.......
the saints can do it...........
but they need to execute, all of em..........

Re: What if the Saints were to cut Brees and a few others..

IF you can't protect Brees and don't give him enought time to find an open reciever, he gets sacked fumbled forced to make bad throws. YOu can't run the damn ball thats the problem we can move the ball because no one is blocking we are getting beat up in the trenches.

Last night The Titans had some execution problems on some drives not the Saints. The Saints got stuffed and beat down. Saints are being dominated on the line!
