The Karney Curse

Everyone talks about we didn't lose anyone from 06. Our biggest lost from last year is John Karney. We win this game with him. I think with all the field goals we are missing, we our killing our drive to win. Who wants to play when everytime we drive we put up 0 on the board. It's not the whole problem but it's part of it. Olinde Mare was a mistake. It was the Dolphins revenge for the Saints winning the lottery with Brees LAST YEAR.

I agree that we need a real kicker. Carney was accurate at least. He didn't have a leg past a 45 yard attempt, but he was accurate.

Re: The Karney Curse

We were better with Cundiff kicking off and Carney was automatic. At the beginning of the season Payton said one leg is better than two. Well that was wrong.

The only curse is that you can't spell his name right.

Re: The Karney Curse

maybeif we hit those two Fgs we build some confidence and our offense gets in sync. But we have many other problems. I don't think Reggie will make it the whole season as the feature rb. He looked beat down towards the end. I would have like to see Pierre Thomas get a few more carries.

I kinda beg to differ. I honestly thought that Reggie played as good a game as you can ask from him even toward the end. This season is going to toughen him up a lil bit. I agree, however, that PT should have gotten a few more carries.

I agree that Mare looks like a very bad mistake. It would not surprise me if he is replaced very soon. And yes, Bush did look very worn down late in the game.
