i really can care less about the rest of this season except for the jags game (i hate the jags), i am really looking forward to the draft. i hate our defense, our offense smells, and we need to stop looking like sissies out there, we need hype and toughness seems to me

I feel you smitty. I've seen some ugly football on Poydras, and this is right up there with it. Everybody knows I'm a Saint (in Cowboy country), I can't say sh!t. What can I say? VERY FEW players are playing with heart. NOBODY is delivering punishing hits on the D-side. No precision or sharpness on the O-side. Where is the extra effort when we are this far in the hole? NOBODY is fired up. Losing is one thing, lack of effort is something else. Can we cut their pay? I take that back! Benson might hear me and try it. He's part of the problem also (TightA$$). We could have had a QB 1st round pick, but Drew was cheaper. It all starts with Sean Payton. Getting the team ready to play is his job. Motivation is his job. Preparation is his job. They were not ready. They were not motivated. They were not prepared. They did not win. AGAIN!

Well I think we really and truely havn't rebuilt this team. We make some quick picks to sale jerseys and that is it. Our linemen is where the problem has been for years and we still haven't address that area with high-draft picks. We are just getting by and now we have been exposed.

The anwer isn't at QB the answer isn't at RB or WR until you build a high quality O-line and Dline we will get blown out but good solid teams.

I agree. It's kinda hard to blame anyone. It is clear we need some help in the trenches. But with the way they played last year......can you fault anyone for not really going out and getting a bunch of new ones? Were they perfect last year? NO. But were they good enough? Well....if you have the #1 offense in the league.....your o-line has to be doing something right. This year is not over but the whole we have dug is real deep now. I agree that next year.....we need to find some o and d-line studs in the draft as well as FA.
