Who wants to see Palko??

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I agree. Brees has a quick release and is adept at reading defenses. Our o-line is not even giving him enough time to do either. God forbid Palko gets put in behind this turnstile fivesome. I would love to see ...

I would love to see us develop Palko underneath Brees. I think he is just the person to groom leadership and professionalism in a young player.

This team needs to gut out some wins with it's starters and find a stride and build upon it. We don't need to be writing off the season at this point.

True... but even when he has time, he's still throwing behind receivers and his passes do not look crisp. You cannot solely blame the offensive line... Drew is to blame also.

Once you get in your head its tough to get out. You lose confidence, you don't just gain it back over night... sometimes it takes a whole off-season to get it back. Basically the offensive line needs to prove to Brees they got his back. Hell, maybe a QB can never really get it out of there head in which case we are more F-ed.

Combat troops experiance shell-shock syndrom... not the same thing but its similar.

TOTALLY agree it would not be a good thing for Palko's development.

So basically Brees shares no part in the blame.

Using your logic, I realized why our Mare is so horrible. He doesn't have any confidence in the play of our offensive line. He's rushing his kicks because he's afraid it's going to get blocked. Poor Mare... I don't know everyone is blaming him. It's the line's fault he blows.

I don't know why I even bother.

What are you getting at??? Where did I say he shares not part in the blame... I merely try to show what he maybe going through as a QB.

If you have a vendetta against Bree's for whatever reason thats your business but this O line is at fault for a lot of our problems, passing game, running game. We have the same problems when Brooks was at QB so don't give me crap that is solely on our QB because that is so not true.

Unless you fix the major flaw with the offense such as the O line. It won't matter who you have at QB they are going to be rushed, they won't have confidence to make their drops are progression and we won't be able to establish the run on anyone.

A great Offensive line will make up for weakness at QB or even RB... do I have to remind you that Grossman went to the SB??? Carr got a win againts us. Come one man wake up and smell the oline they stink.

Its just a matter of signing him on the active roster no biggy but he's not ready nor should we even chance ruining a potential good QB in the future.

You're certainly making enough excuses for him. You're deflecting blame off him onto the offensive line. He's a ProBowl quarterback, he needs to make adjustments. And when he has time, he needs to make his throws.

Vendetta? I love Drew Brees. I'm just smart enough to know everyone is to blame... not just the line. And if you could read and comprehend, nowhere am I putting blame solely on him... I don't even hint at it.

Seeing how games are won in the trenches, thanks Captain Obvious.

I'll give you the Bears... but if you think the Panthers have a good oline, you need to get off whatever you're smoking.

Come one man wake up and smell the oline they stink.
Never said they didn't. Don't know why you keep telling us that. I mean crap... every thread you're in, you surely make it known.
