92 Chargers & SAINTS

92 Chargers & '07 Saints...Check it out!
Yes, most of you know where I am going with this, but there are more similarities than the obvious. For the few of you that don't know, the 1992 San Diego Chargers are the only NFL team to make the playoffs after starting a season 0-4. Now for what you may not know...

In their first 4 games the '92 Chargers were outscored 95 to 29, a margin of 66 points.
In their first 4 games the Saints has been outscored 119 to 51, a margin of 68 points.

The 1992 Chargers turned around their season in the fifth game. Who did they play? Where was the game? Yeah you right, they played the Seahawks in Seattle!

History always has a way of repeating itself. We can only hope it's of the '92 Charger variety and not our sorry past. Just in case you're curious, the final score of that game was 17-6. Be positive and keep this in mind Sunday night!

Well QBREES9- Yes, the Chargers did make a complete turnaround in 92, and I am with you that hopefully the Saints can do it too. I guess you never know. Maybe the NFL (Not For Long) will include losing steaks too, for the sake of the Saints.

I hope their playoff run that year does not repeat itself. I was at that game. Dolphins 31, Chargers 0.
