Jeff Faine

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Seeing how we were talking about how players were selected to the Pro Bowl and you responded with this... Actually, I think they do select Pro Bowl alternates just in case someone drops out or has surgery or what not. ...

Actually, I think they do select Pro Bowl alternates just in case someone drops out or has surgery or what not. I know it doesn't mean he is a Pro Bowler.
One would think you were responding to my thread... not you talking to yourself.

Misinterpretation. My bad... you're right. If a player is selected as an alternate, it doesn't mean they're a Pro Bowler. Though I didn't say they were either.

Obviously, Jeff Faine is a Pro Bowler as an alternate as you stated, but I don't see his name either on any roster. Please if you find it somewhere, let me know. I will gladly step down. The point I was trying to make Papz, is that players that are selected to the Pro Bowl as alternates are not Pro Bowl players unless they go. That's all

Re: Jeff Faine

I am wrong on one thing I have to admit... he wasn't a Pro Bowler. He was a Pro Bowl alternate.
Thanks I covered that already on page 5.

Re: Jeff Faine

Question? Don't the coachs select the alternates? Seems to me that's the waay it goes. Hey, at my age, Snow White might be making the selections.
