To any Saints fans in Atlanta

I knew it was going to happen one day. I hate to leave the beautiful Gulf Coast, but today is my last day in Destin and I'm officially moving to Atlanta (it's a good thing).

But, if any of you are in Atlanta and meet up to watch games then let me know, I'd love to join.....

Here's to the rest of the season in "ATLHELL"!!

Dude, welcome to my world. Personally I got frustrated with trying to find a consistent place to watch games without having to outlay a bunch of cheddar to do so. So I signed up for NFL Sunday Ticket on DirecTV. Even though I have to plunk down $270 for a season I know exactly when and where the game is going to be.

The worst part of being in Atlanta of course is having to listen to the Falcons fans whine and complain all the time. Tune your radio to 680 TheFan to see what I'm talking about.

Dude, I don't know how leaving Destin (Beatiful, warm delightful beaches with suntanning ladies) for ATL (Falcons, gangs, crime, Braves) is a good thing. New paycheck must be kicka$$! :-)

Bobby Hebert used to own a spot just outside the Perimeter somewhere, a little north up 400. But I can't think of the name of it. Was it the Bayou Room? Yeah, I think that was it. It had a regular following of about 15 people that watched the games - the place served gumbo and crawfish, Abita beer, etc.

But since that place closed, I don't know of any spots that cater to Saints fans. I've been gone about 2 years though, so maybe some new place has opened up that I don't know about. I'll email an old buddy and see if he knows of any places.

Hey there's nothing wrong with the Braves!

Oh, I'm a Braves fan. I would say that's the only thing good. :-)

Thanks everyone for your help!!! I'm just now getting moved in and back to the real world here....(internet)

And hey Sapper, it's always about the paycheck :)

There's a Copeland's restaurant here in Smyrna that shows Saints games, so looks like it's on!!

Okay everyone in Atlanta....just a quick update. The Copeland's restaurant by the AMC theater on Cumberland Parkway is THE PLACE to watch Saints games. Huge lounge area, $2.50 Abita, $5 apps and there were about 30 Saints fans there (just in jerseys).

If anyone can make it, let me know!!
