It was a gift from a guy who knows a guy kind of thing
he said it came from the man (McALLISTER) himself but I thought he was full of it

Most would say the "tag" makes it a "store bought" item. But I would have to disagree. I get tons of Southern Miss stuff straight from the Athletic Dept, and it has tags on it. Who knows, and who can say it a'int from Deuce?

yeah but can anyone tell me if the state logo on the jersey is any way to indicate that it is in fact an official team jersey?

1. the state patch doesnt make it an actual game jersey 2. are u asking if its a jersey mcallister was going to where in the game, or just an authentic jersey?

I know it's not one that McALLISTER has worn simply because the tags are still on it

I also don't believe that he got it from Duce (that just sounds like a tall tail to me)

but I know it's an authentic jersey
because it's all stitched
and I have others but non of them have the state logo on them
also I have been looking online and all the ones that are for sale don't have the sate logo on them
so my question is...

what is the difference between that ones with and the ones without the state logo on them?

the reason I'm asking is because someone said to me at work that the state logo tells you it's one of the jersey that are referred to as a team issued jersey
that means it's a jersey that only the team can get not the public

and I personally think the guy I work with is wrong
so I'm trying to find out so I can do the I told you so song and dance

no, lots of places sell the ones with state logos. ebay and other places sell them. its not an indication of being team issued......
