Sunday's game was a meeting between two 2-4 teams, though you never would have guessed it. The 49ers were completely outclassed by a Saints team that seems to have figured out what went wrong in September and have righted the ship.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Sure, Reggie Bush felt a bit of sympathy for his former high school quarterback after Alex Smith's pitiful performance for the 49ers.
Bush felt a whole lot more pride in his New Orleans Saints, who are right back on track after their awful start.

Secondary:
Walt Harris was absolutely schooled today by David Patten. Now, it's one thing to be schooled because you are inferior in talent but it is another to be schooled because of a lack of effort. On numerous plays Harris didn't even bother to recover after Patten gained some space after on some comeback routes. Even JC Pearson mentioned what I was thinking after that Patten catch on the sideline near the 10 yard line that Harris just let him catch it and get a few more yards before bothering to push him out.

Me too. At last, some feel good is going on around here. I'm digging it bigtime.
