Usama Young - Questions
 

I was surfing the web the other day and found Usama Young's web page. I clicked on the "talk to Usama link" and sent him an email asking him about the shoulder and if he had time, I would like to send him some questions to post on B&G.com.

I figured I'd never hear back, but I got the email from him today. He said the shoulder is fine and that he would answer some questions if he had time. It'll probably never happen, but I figure it's worth a shot, so help me out and post any questions you want me to ask Usama.

Tell him about the site here, ask if he's seen the "man love" he gets on here.

How does he feel about all the negative talk about Saints secondary and does he feel he can help change that opinion?

I just want to tell him,i'm glad we have him and would love to see him playing more. I think he's a fine addition to the squad.

i found the site before the season. I have been emailing after each loss encouraging them and got a response back everytime. the last time i emailed him was after sunday's game and i basically told the how great we as fans think they are doing how much improved the defense is and how much we appreciate them and if they continue to stop the run like they have then charles grants prediction of 12 wins would happen.
he replied that he appreciates the support. that they not only need to keep stopping the run but make sure they dont give up the big play. he said he'd love it if as he called him C Grant's prediction comes true.
seems to be a great guy who really appreciates the fans

That's really a good thing to hear about one of our young and upcoming players. That's one of the things that makes it possible to pull for this team, even when they hit rough spots. I truly believe that Payton put a premium on having guys on the roster that had the right attitude for a successful team. Talent is important, but I'll take a guy who'll work hard on every play over a guy who takes them off every once in a while any day.
On a side note about another of our secondary guys, I was at the niner game on Sunday. At the end of the game I was waiting behind the Saints bench to see some of the guys and Roman Harper came over to the stands and handed his game gloves to a gentleman standing next to me. As it turns out, the guy was Roman's older brother! I talked to him for a few minutes and, if Roman is anything like his brother sounds to be, then he's got the right attitude as well!

This young man should be starting, and giving a chance to develope, he has the speed and toughness, why is Sean Payton so in love with him I don't know.
