I know I've been hard on Drew Brees, and that's wrong, I just want the Saints to win, they deserve to have a title, after 41 years, it's just painful to watch. The fans of New Orleans deserve to have a championship team, we as fans see glaring needs of what our team needs , it just bothers me, why Sean Payton and Loomis can't see this. With those draft picks, why didn't we get any defensive presence, I'm talking about using picks to strengthen our defense. All of our high picks went to the offense, Meachum, Alleman, Bushrod, none of these guy are seeing playing time. I do think that Meachum, will be great
I guess we will see next year. I want the same as the rest of you guys, for the Saints to win, I just got really irriated when they lost to the rams.

Welcome to the club. I think we should start every post with "Hello, my name is ____ and I'm a Saints fan" because it's like an AA meeting around here sometimes.

Re: Thank you, Sean Payton

I mostly feel sorry for my buddy. He is English and moved to New Orleans about 7 years ago. He basically had no favorite team and I convinced him to root for the Saints. In hindsight I should have convinced him to root for another team, but I digress. Now he is a die hard Saints fan, and unlike me he has not yet conditioned himself to understand why we lose to teams we should beat or always make the games we win closer than they should be. So I get texts every Sunday about how sick to his stomach he is and how confused he is with the calls the team makes. I try and tell him that this team is cursed and that he needs to accept it and move on. Acceptance is the first step to being at peace as a Saints fan.

I still say, I've seen instances where Brees could have ran to dig his team out of a hole, but he didn't. Tony Romo, will move to help his offensive linemen. I'm going to leave Dree alone for now, because I know he wants to win, I'm not questioning his heart and desire to win. It's just something about playing football in that Superdome giving these boys so much bad luck. Maybe, it's the name and Fleur-de- lis symbol, 41 years is just to long for a team to have this much bad luck.

I agree that he always looks to pass, but I have seen him run for the yards.

Yes, the Saints are cursed, the symbol that they wear is not good.

Re: Thank you, Sean Payton

Ok, I am a Brees fan through and through. But, is it just my imagination or does he not utilize the audible near enough? It seems alot of times when other teams are stacking our line, it would've been easily countered by a timely audible to the TE or a short-slant receiver. Has anyone else noticed the lack of audibles? Just an observation.
