So we have......

@Houston
@Carolina
Tampa Bay
@Atlanta
Arizona
Philly
@Chicago

What do we lose, what do we win? And is this a wildcard, or division winner or?????

Gotta love ya man. The eternal optimist. I sure hope you're right. Thank you for being you!

I'm not being optimistic... I'm being realistic.

I saw we lose two more out of our remaining games... to who? I have no idea... any given Sunday any team can win. We might lose to Houston and Arizona while beating Philly and Chicago. You never know.

I tell ya. Even over here in a little bitty beach town like Crystal Beach Texas, everybody's calling me telling me how the Texans are going to beat the hell out of us. Man, there aren't but about 3000 permanent residents here and I think after yesterdays game they think the Texans are going to roll all over the Saints. I'm about to quit answering my phone.

Re: the sad thing about this season is....

I said the following on October 08, 2007, when we were 0-4:

I predict that we will (eventually) do better, probably ending up 7-9 or 8-8. Over the many, many years we have been good at being bad, but we have been even better at being mediocre. You know we are usually not good enough to make the playoffs, but not bad enough to wrap up a top 3 pick.
I still stand by it, and the team.
I still stand by the statement, and the team.

I think you guys are making a big deal out of nothing
we had some good plays and some bad ones

paps said it best any team has the potential to beat another team it's all a mater of who wants it more and who prepares better

Re: the sad thing about this season is....

well, we lost to an 0-8 team, so i guess we didnt want it and we didnt prepare. i think thats a pretty big deal. we put ourselves that much further from a playoff spot, thats a pretty big deal. Another L against an NFC opponent, could keep us from playoffs, pretty big deal.

Yes we made some good plays, but we cant make more good plays than an 0-8 team????

Cmon, ive tried being as optimistic as most, defending when everyone wanted to jump ship, but geez. This game would have put us in a tie with Idle Tampa Bay, AND Carolina lost, so we could have gotten some seperation from them. This was prolly one of the most important games to win, and we couldnt, against an 0-8 team????

is this all really happening????
