Not Reggie's fault

Ok, ok, ok.

Everyone, I mean EVERYONE is upset. So we are a hunting to cast blame, we are a hunting to throw anything and everything at everyone involved with the Saints. And enough words have already been said and we will say them again.

However through all this, Reggie Bush has huffed and puffed to make plays. Yes he makes mistakes (today for instance) which could be seen as a game breaker but the truth is......................

Reggie is not the only player. So why do we play like a team who believes he is? The guy has to rush and receive.

When are we going to support him by using other players? Just what is wrong with PT, Stecker, Moore? I say nothing. Correction, the coach don't see them as go to guys. And that amazes me.

So in the meantime, we will wear Reggie down. Reggie knows the ball is coming his way. The Saints know the ball is coming his way. And all the teams we play know the ball is coming his way.

Ouch!

Re: Not Reggie's fault

Sean Payton thinks that Reggie is the answer to this problem. He is obviously not.

Re: Not Reggie's fault

Somewhat off topic, but that 'fumble' at the goalline was not a f'n fumble. Bull refs.

Re: Not Reggie's fault

They think Reggie is the answer to all plays. I could see a man open downfield and Drew Brees throws it to Reggie and he gets stopped for negative yardage.Reggie is good but hes not Hercules. Sean Payton this year I hate you for getting our best running back hurt. I also hate you for having a bad Cb Jason David a.k.a Burnt Toast. and I cant forget the town favorite Olindo Mare a.k.a No Good a.k.a Wide Left a.k.a Wide Right a.k.a Blocked.

Re: Not Reggie's fault

It's painfully obvious there are many holes with this Saints team, and the number 1 has to be an every down RB. (Well, tied for number 1 with CB). Reggie must return to the "Reggie Role" in 08. There still is time to do this for the last 6 games of this year. The guy has all the heart in the world, but needs another guy to pound it around. Despite not having Deuce around, the Saints need to at least attempt to use Stecker and or Thomas. Another thought, why not put Meachum on IR, since he IS HURT, and promote Jamaal Branch from the practice squad?

Re: Not Reggie's fault

IMO Payton is over using Bush, the guy can't do it be himself, defenses are starting to key on him really bad.
Dame I wish Deuce was there to help out.
Our defense is playing awful, just awful.
I'm one sad fan this afternoon.

Re: Not Reggie's fault

Was it Reggie fault he fumbled at the one yard line?
Was it Reggie's fault he let a pass hit him in the hands and then hit the ground?
Was it Reggie's fault he turned a 6 yard gain into a fumble and loss of one?

If you answered yes to any on these questions...
Yes it is Rggie's fault.

P.S. We could ahve had Maurice Jones Drew...
I am a UCLA fan and it took a lot for me to like Reggie Bush...

He just hasn't done much... So I feel stupid

Re: Not Reggie's fault

the team as a whole is melting down. confidence is at an all time low. One bad play leads to another. They are allowing it to have a snowball effect. The blame rests squarely on Sean's shoulders. I like the way he talks to players but now he seems to be loosing it. way to much yelling. They need to get a grip.

Re: Not Reggie's fault

Exactly, Payton's a nag....
I said that during today's game.
If I was a player I would have tuned him out.

Does anybody say, "hey coach why don't you call better plays?"

Re: Not Reggie's fault

The Saints were out played by a better football team.

Was it Reggies fault - Yes
Was it Brees fault - Yes (I know the INT's were not his fault but on a 4th down play there were 2 WRs open and he throws it to someone who was covered tight, come on.
Was it D fault - Yes
Was it O fault - Yes.

Re: Not Reggie's fault

The entire team from Payton to the waterboy was at fault yesterday. On a third down play after Colston had dropped a ball he was taken out of the game. You don't pull your best receiver on a critical third down play because he made a mistake the play before. Brees had happy feet before the pressure started to get to him instead of just stepping up into the pocket. It was just ashame for all the Saints fans that made the trip and there were plenty in that stadium for the Saints to lay an egg like that is unacceptable.
