This team is it's own worst enemy ....

... the Saint's always seem to commit bonehead penalties and turn the ball over at the worst times possible. The saints never seem to gain momentum because they're always giving it away. Entering this game (Houston), the saints were last in the league with a -9 turnover margin. 3 turnovers today can only pad the cushion to ensure we remain at #32.

Why does this team always seem to play below the level of it's competition ?

At Halftime, and entering the 3rd Q , I have yet to see this coaching staff make any noticeable changes for the good of the team . Since Duece got hurt, we have ZERO running game and are so predicatble ... #25 left, #25 up the middle, #25 in the flat for a screen.

This team shows very little emotion, and has NO confidence.

Don't get me started on the play calling, defensive secondary, and Olindo Mare.

Our team is predictable now. Our coach is a bonehead who doesnt want to put Reggie and Pierre on the field at the same time. We badly need Deuce. I mean we really really really need Deuce. Oh well sholud we talk about who we need in next years draft?

Last year Payton was really good at making changes for the better at the half, not so this season.
I also agree with everything else in your post.

I am still a believer that we CAN run the ball, but we have to do it behind Karney. Our backs are toooo light in the pants otherwise. It does not matter what I see because Payton CAN'T see it. He seems to have tunnel vision and can only see Reggie unescorted, Reggie as a decoy, Reggie flare five yards deep, hoping to side step two, elude another two, then break one for 3 yards. We are multi-talented and are totally underachieving...spotlight on Payton. Mental mistakes, poor execution, unpreparedness...spotlight Payton. We have a decent QB, decent backs, a decent line, on both sides of the ball, BUT our play is not decent...spotlight Payton. Reggie touched the ball 27 times. EVERYBODY knows what we will do. I wouldn't do that to Reggie or to Brees, let alone Jason David. We are putting them in a position to get killed out there. Sean - USE ALL OF YOUR PEOPLE! PLEASE!
