Pierre Thomas

Got this off of wwl.com

RB Reggie Bush fully practiced on Thursday after going at it on a limited basis on Wednesday. On a more serious note, RB Pierre Thomas suffered a bruised kidney according to Payton in the game against the Panthers. "He had it coming away from the game and he had tests done and everything seemed alright, and then after yesterday’s practice he had some more blood in his urine," said Payton following practice on Wednesday. "So we backed off today. We’ll just watch and see where he’s at tomorrow."

Thomas did his best to stay involved at practice on Thursday by helping gather footballs and practice pads but was eventually told to relax. Overall the injury is a bit nerve wracking, "You don’t see that everyday, I almost fainted the first time," said Thomas. "I’m good. I feel healthy, like I can go out and practice hard yesterday and did well. I feel like I can go out there and practice again, feel like I can play a game but I just want to be careful."

Oh, man. I hate to hear this. He's my man. I sure hope he get well soon. I like the way this guy runs.

Internal bleeding is nothing to play around with. I thought he was bruising his way in that 4th quarter, but this (could be) serious.

We're all going to have to chip and get you a #23 jersey for Xmas...well, if we liked you we would. =)

I agree with xan. I say we sit him and call up branch. I'm sure there's a TE we can waive or something.

ahhh it's not that bad
I mean don't get me wrong it's not a good thing but it’s not going to end the season for him
I had something like this happen to me when I was younger and played ball it heals quickly
I was back in the game 2 weeks later

like the doctors told me “I know the blood in you urine looks scary but it's really just a few busted blood vessels and it will be a little sore for a few days, so nothing strenuous but your going to be fine”

but I do wish him a speedy recovery

I'll take it if you can find one in my size. 5x sometimes is hard to find you know. And besides, like you said, you'd have to like me.:(

I don't know if there's anything scarier than blood in your piss. Dang. Hope he gets better. Also, I hope we continue to try and run the ball up the middle, it opens up the rest of the offense.
