Re: Still giving Sean Payton a pass?

It was bad no doubt but c'mon, players own up!

We did NOTHING on D To deserve to win this game, and the off was not much better. Let's face it we're a middle of the pack team in a poor div and we still can't win!
Under 4 min remaining, our ball and we stay in bounds twice!! TWice! I feel that that gave the Bucs all the extra time they needed to steal a win from a X mas happy holiday, free pass and rush yards Defence!!

Happy Holidays Bucs and to the Saints D a Big bag of coals in your stockings!

JENGA....I Win!

I wouldn't say "nothing" from the D. They scored 8 points.

Re: Still giving Sean Payton a pass?

Mike McKenzie scored points. The rest of the D, with the exception of Fujita, and discounting the safety, did nothing to impress me.

C'mon. McCown was 15 for 15 at one point. Is he second string or third string? He's not a starter. Giving up 15 for 15 is NOT acceptable, as we all know - even for 1st string. To give that up to backups is past acceptable, and on to embarrassing.

We can win in this league, we have the talent, we have the fireworks. But we don't have is the consistent pass defense. Or rather, our pass defense IS consistent. Consistently bad.

Kudos to the Bucs, winning one on the road, with a backup quarterback. Wish I could say we deserve kudos - but we simply don't. Now my sights are on LSU, and the draft in April.

can anyone help me id this tune? it goes thwap thwap boom tch boom tch boom tch.

Qui a laissez sortir les chiens!

Re: Still giving Sean Payton a pass?

SP has been to blame for the majority of the season.

I've officially lost my faith in him. In my mind, he's now on the hot seat.

He was doing well against Tampa Bay, aside from the first drive. Yet, he still couldn't get away from his 'cutesy' video game tendencies.

A run up the middle for negative yards to burn some clock would have been better. 3 an d out would have been better. Less clock, better field position.

I'm officially tired of Sean Payton.

Re: Still giving Sean Payton a pass?

Well, Payton is not on the hot seat for this year. I just hope that the Saints ownership group pulls the trigger a little quicker than they did with Haz, if the results remain as they are. They stuck with Haz a little too long, probably did not stick with Ditka long enough, so we will see how Payton is treated.

How about Mike Singletary?

One play doesn't cost you a game. We were beaten all day it wasn't just one play. We need to let Payton take his lumps and learn. Its going to pay off one day... learn from the Steelers.

Re: Still giving Sean Payton a pass?

They had twice the yardage we had, didn't they? They beat us all day long really. Honestly, I thought it was much worse than the score showed.
