Even if Bush and Bullocks are 100% next week, I will be disappointed in Payton if he changes his formula. KK and Stecker are working out and it would be a shame if Payton falls back in love with Reggie and runs those flares to Bush all day long.

Do not trade Reggie. As QBREES9 said, Reggie is the ideal decoy play.

OK I haved had too much rum tonight, but how about Stecker, Bush, Thomas combo because 2 of those can also catch the ball.

Bullocks can sit the pine far as much as I care. Reggie, if he is healthy, can help us as a wide out, motion guy.

Payton's play calling seems to have improved with a reduced pick list, especially since Reggie has been out. Stecker has shown that he can contribute...but so has Thomas...and so has Karney...and so have many others if given the chance to perform. We could have run for 100 every week had we tried hard enough. Let the run critics eat crow. Payton did a great job last year opening up the offense and still rushing @100 per game, and keeping people involved so that they keep their heads in the game. This year he seemed to not know where he was going with the offense and it showed on the field. Early on we didn't press the run hard enough, and because of it, we could not pass block either. Bress could never get comfortable because our O-line were on their heels rather than our opponents D-line being on their heels. Those guys didn't know what kind of offense they were going to run from week to week. Reduced availability seems to have set Payton free to use everybody...AGAIN...and its working...AGAIN! When Brees can mix it up, he is at his best. Great WIN...two more...one week at a time.
