Center Jeff Faine was thinking the same thing as he tried to make sense of how the Saints could go from Super Bowl contenders to 7-9 and offseason oblivion. “We went from 0-4 to 4-0,” Faine said, “but we just didn’t maintain our momentum throughout the year. It’s unfortunate the games we lost put us in a tough situation and we put ourselves in bad situations.” |
