Laurinaitis’ work ethic keys Buckeyes’ defense

It’s just a mentality,” Laurinaitis said. “Last year, I don’t think as a defense we were all that physical. … We talked after last season we couldn’t even make a highlight of big hits. That’s what we wanted to focus on, getting good hits and be more physical at the point of attack.”

This guy sound great. Just what we need.

I sure hope this guy is still available when the Saints are on the clock. This looks like a best player available and a need position all rolled into one. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

I saw him in the LSU game, and I thought he did pretty well. Others don't agree, however. I intend to re-watch the game (recorded) and focus on his play (and that CB they've got), but haven't gotten around to it yet. I do know that he set a record for tackles in that game, though.

I'd be happy with that guy.

I believe he had 18 tackles in the game. After the game Ive heard a lot of people complain about his coverage against the pass and his inability to show up in the big game. Even so, I really wanna see him on the board when we pick.

the son of "ANIMAL" would be a great pick in the draft. L.O.D. in N.O.

Agreed. I don't think we could go wrong with Keith Rivers. Or one of the ultra-talented cornerbacks in the draft (assuming some of them come out). I saw Malcolm Jenkins on the field after the NCG and told him that I hoped I would see him in black and gold, but he just gave me a death stare. Anyways, I don't like the talk of drafting another safety, maybe because I think KK should step in and play for Bullocks. In the second round, I hope the Saints are targeting Brandon Flowers (CB, VTech) who just announced he was coming out. The guy is a good one, and would be a great pickup in the second round after we draft Rivers.
