Did anyone see/hear this?

He is DONE in Cincy!!!

I know it's been mentioned on here, but he is talking about "If i'm the cancer, i guess the team needs to go through some Kemo, and get rid of the cancer!"

He wants out, he's been quiet almost the entire last half of the season, not talking to the media, because he just wanted to do his business on the field and get out!"

Props to Ocho man, he's a top 5 WR in the NFL and they blame him for losing, he isn't the problem on that team, he was part of the solution and they boycott him because he has fun playing a GAME!!

Ocho Cinco To The Saints?? hahaha not likely, but hey i can dream of a Colston/Ocho/Meachem 3WR set can't i.....?

There are some lingering issues. Chad Johnson appears to be signed through 2010 plus a Bengals option for 2011. This is from an old story I found from April 2006. I don't know if anything has changed on his contract since then. Cincinnati also said they would not dump him. I guess it would take some serious stuff to pull off a trade for him. At this point, I do not see the Saints willing to give up a high pick to get him. Too many holes on the defense to give up the picks. I don't think the Bengals would be interested in a player/players on the roster for him. If I was a betting man, I say he stays in Cincinnati. Yes, it would be a nice addition to the Saints, but my feeling is the cost would be too steep...

I say if we trade back and get a couple of extra 3rd round picks (like I think we're gonna) we trade both of them for Chad. We have the money to spend and if we have a problem during the season running the ball we can always pass, pass, pass!

This would further elevate the offense, with the receivers we already have, if Deuce can be productive for 1 full year, Bush finds his niche and PT and Karney fill the holes we can't be stopped on offense and if we only become 10th in defense, we would win it all.

Lot of if's but it could happen and you know this, man!

I have never had any affinity for players who put attention and gimmicks ahead of anything else. Skills and competence aside, there are enough classy and humble players out there who bring more to the team. Johnson is a great receiver, don't get me wrong, but there are too many professionals who dislike is unprofessionalism and he is a problem as a result. No one likes a showboat and a braggart and that's what Johnson is. I would be sad to see him in New Orleans. With the veteran leadership we have on this offense already he would do nothing but undermine this.

I know that I'm in the minority here but, Colston hasn't shown the ability to stay healthy for a season.

He got hurt lastyear, and this year. If Colston avoids injury next season, I'd give him a GREAT deal.


We are already paying Deuce too much. He stays hurt.x(

Galloway already kills us. If they got 85, we'd be in worst shape defensivly.
