I heard it on the radio coming from work. Seems like Chow took the bullet for Vince Young's "regression", which really wasn't, he's just not a good NFL QB no matter what. Apparently Chow really wanted Leinart and was frustrated with Young.

Nothing against Vince Young, he seems to be a nice enough guy, says the right things, etc... but he's just a likable Vick, just not as shifty.

I really think that, had Leinart landed in Tenn. (and obviously not gotten hurt), the Titans would still be playing right now. Chow would've immediately installed his USC offense and obviously Leinart would not have needed to learn or adjust to it. Unfortunately for Leinart he landed on a perennial loser with a new coach who apparently can't make up his mind as to who his QB is going to be from one play to the other.

Vince doesn't strike me as a QB that will get much better than what we see now.

Thats b s if thats the case, Chow was never once pulling for the Titans to take Young. The only reason the Titans took Young is because of the Owner who has a lot of love for Young and all of the Long Horn nation.

Chow was even on the record as saying that he wanted Matt Lieharent*sp?* from USC.
