There is also another reason for this.......the draft extremly well, and they coach very well. The Front Office for that team is amazing....yes I admit it, I have a man crush on the front office of the Pats.

Not starting a fight Missile, but this team has got to get out of the mentallity of "Well, lets pick up this So-So player instead of that premier fella". We did that will Simmons, KK, JD, and countless others. It does us no good, and only seems to get our hopes up just to piss us off after the first few games of the season.

We need to drop the guys we signed to a one year contract and put that money towards some REAL talent.

Oh yeah, they also need to stop making "Mare" choices.

Lions looking to deal Shaun Rogers

St. Petersburg Times writer Rick Stroud reported on ESPN's First Take that the Lions will look to trade Shaun Rogers.

Rogers can be a dominant force inside, but the Lions are clearly frustrated by his failure to stay consistently productive and in shape. It has been speculated that Rogers could be a cap casualty if he's not dealt. Jan. 23 - 11:06 am et

Why do I have this funny feeling that the Saints are going to pick up another rookie WR in the first round that wont see the ball one time all season????

This post makes the most sense to me on this thread. The Saints have tried to bring in the second tier defensive guys to patch major holes for years. This is the year they HAVE to go out and spend the money on defense like they have spent it on the offense. They to at least target Samuel or Briggs. I know its alot of money but i think it is a necessity to bring in a VETERAN that can be the leader of the defense. If we cant get either of those two, we NEED to try and bring in Trufant but the guy i think fits the best is Nnamdi Asomugha from the Raiders. And even after signing one of those 4 guys, the saints need to continue to stockpile talent on defense through the draft. I think Payton has proven that he can plug in anyone and be successfull in our offense so to me that should be an afterthought. Getting young on the interior d-line, an athlete or two at LB, and an impact guy AND some youth at CB and safety.

That is my plan and i am sticking to it.

1st Round

Aqib Talib, CB, Kansas

2nd Round
Dre Moore, DT, Maryland

3rd Round
Beau Bell, ILB, UNLV

4th Round
Darnell Terrell, CB, Missouri

5th Round
Andy Studebaker, OLB, Wheaton

6th Round
Kevin O'Connell, QB, San Diego State

7th Round
Alexis Serna, Kicker, Oregon State

The Front Office for that team is amazing....yes I admit it, I have a man crush on the front office of the Pats.
