PackersNews.com - No signs Packers will hit Williams with franchise tag

"Everyone knows it's a possibility," Baratz said. "We're just going to have to wait the next couple days. They just hired a new cap guy (Russ Ball), so I know they're waiting for him to get caught up with the structure of the team before they gave up the definitive answer one way or another. We agreed we'll keep the lines of communication, and we'd like to be there long term. If that could happen, that would be ideal."

I really like the idea of him wearing the B&G. Hope we get the guy.

They have a lot of depth at DT. Won't surprise me at all if he walks, and I hope we make a huge push for him. He's just the kind of interior pass rushing presence we need.

This team has a great shot at building a hell of a defense right now, I hope the FO realizes this.
