Best CB in draft

Am I the only person that believes that Cromartie-Rodgers is, and should be the top CB taken in the draft. This guy ran a 4.28!! Thats fast!!. He blew up the combine and the Senior Bowl. When he has a great pro day, I believe he will go way up the charts. Even Neon Deion has his name on this kid!! I hope we get him, because it looks like the FO isn't making a hard push to help our secondary through FA!! Who dat Baby! I haven't been to this site in a while. Rest in peace Joe Sam!!

well its really hard to say... yes he is fast but so are alot of the other top corners in this draft. not only that but he hasnt played much top competition coming from a small school... now that doesnt mean his is a bad player but its just hard to gauge a guy like that based just on workouts

McKelvin, DRC, and Jenkins is how I rate them... they could easily be interchangeable though. I like McKelvin better because if his return skills. I'd be happy with any one of those three.

the top 4 CBs all bring something different to the table...DRC, McKelvin, Jenkins and Talib all have an arguement for being the top guy. I would take any of them but in a perfect world it would be after we trade down a few spots and pick up a few extra picks.

Bingo bob-o, The question is how far down.
Some one trades up to 10 for a WR
Buffalo will surely go CB if Rivers is gone.
Detriot is needs a CB at 15
Vikings at 17
Houston at 18
Philli at 19.
To me Chicago trading up from 14 would be perfect. That gives us a third rounder.
If we went with the Vikings we would get a second rounder out of them. Plus we could charge them a little more because of the risk we are taking the CB selection will be thin. Maybe DRC is our consulation prize or Talbid LOL But I doubt it.
Anything lower than that we are taking a big risk and would have to get a #1 next year in return and maybe a later round pick this year to drop out of the top 20.

God I do love the #10 pick.

Welcome back D4P!

No, you are not the only one that wants DRC in the B&G (Hey, that was a rap). I think he is THE sleeper (for a lack of a better word) for this years draft. This is the first time I have been all for drafting a small school player in the first two rounds of the draft. I'm like you I hope we can get him. I just don't see him having too much of a hard time adjusting to the speed and talent of the NFL.
