Those guys are decent, but a long ways away from Dome Patrol status.

No there is not but Conners is an option. There are some nice choices in the second and third rounds to boot. So I am not that worried. besides there are going to be a few cap cuts added to the list of options before the season starts. On paper we should be better off in 2008 than 2007.
Now for the dome patrol thing......time will tell

We will always have fond memories of the Dome Patrol, but can we just leave it in the past? There is only one Dome Patrol and that is the way it should stay.

At least one more OLB, probably two unless the back-ups we have now show something (mitchell, evans, mccoy). Remember the dome patrol was voted the best LB's in NFL history, and we had four of them!

I don't care how good our LB's get - they won't be anywhere near the level of the Dome Patrol. Period. There's no way. Not even close.

If we picked Connor at 10, I'd be pissed. He's not a top ten talent. But I do think that Rivers will be available at 10. I can't think of any of the teams drafting in front of us that would draft a linebacker.
