WTF Are the Jets doing???

The Jets have been really expensive this offseason (The Jets added guard Alan Faneca, defensive tackle Kris Jenkins, defensive end-linebacker Calvin Pace and offensive tackle Damien Woody. Total disbursement: $138 million to $142 million, with guaranteed money ranging from $63 million to $74 million. )

and now they pickup rb jesse chatman..

In the top 10 they were the only ones I saw drafting a rb.. Would they pass on McFadden now that they have signed Chatman to go along with Thomas Jones and Leon Washington.. going to be interesting how this now plays out..

never thought he would fall to the jets and still don't. But if hell freezes over and he gets to NE his fall will stop there. remember dallas has 1440 pts from those two first rounders so the jets and dallas may have something cooking.

I can't see why Chatman would have any bearing whatsoever on where McFadden gets picked. Chatman is clearly just a backup RB.

It was only for one year and who's to say that he will make the roster. This just makes a smoke screen for the Jets so that they don't look like they have to draft McFadden. If Gholston's stock keeps rising don't be surprised if he is taken with that pick because his performance shows that he maybe able to play the hybrid DE/OLB position.

Agreed. Having another average back does not change a thing. If anything, it means they cut Jones or Washington to save $$ and make romm for McFadden

Thats what I was thinking Hagan, you really think the Jets are going to want to pay high first rd money after shelling out all that cash for FA's? I doubt it!
