I really respect Mike D and I'm sure everybody on this board does too. If this happens, I'll be so happy. I really think this would make our DL one of the best in the league. Get a CB in round 2 and trade up if you have to.

NE is the only pick I would question. Leodis McKelvin is more probable.
Baltimore would go with ????? They are a 34 D so Ellis does not fit. They need a true NT if anything. That leaves CB, QB and WR.
Cinnci is the killer. They need defense also. somewhere in the draft we have to move up a few spots or we will be picking from the scraps.

Would you guys scream if we went with Phillip Merling another DE?

I disagree. what was the most frustrating thing on our D??? PASS RUSH. When did we ever get pressure on the QB. That my friend is the single most important thing we need to fix. Name one top CB the Giants have by name without looking at there roster??? NO BIG NAMES. There pass rush kept Pats in check. Having a 'stable line' will only get you 7-9 and or with luck 8-8. Stable record right?
