i never liked hodge to begin with but after watching that run play during the eagles first possession i would dance a jig if they cut his a$$ tomorow :mad:

a run play to the outside, hodge is matched up on the WR or FB (i can't remember which)
does hodge try to get around the block and make the tackle? does hodge engage the block and try to get an arm on the RB? does hodge engage the block on the outside to force the RB to cut up the field instead of continuing to swing out to the sideline?

hodge dives into the blockers knee from 3 yards away not even slowing the blocker down in essence and watches as the runner sprints right out of his socks and shoes 10 yards down field

he looked like crap last year and he looks worse this year

Damn, I never heard his name called,

I heard before the season that Allen was pushing him for the SLB spot.
But Allen made a couple of bonehead plays too, so the quest continues...

That was, IMO, the worst defensive play of the night, but I think most of the blame goes to Tebucky. He actually had his arms around Westbrook\'s waist and still didn\'t bring him down. Westbrook isn\'t exactly a power running back either.
