The Saints traded a conditional draft choice to the Jets for Vilma, and signed Morgan, McCray and Gay as free agents.

"It's not enough to just improve the defense," Vilma said. "You hope to improve it to the point where you're winning. If you're not winning games, and divisions, and going to Super Bowls, then you haven't improved enough. You have to improve the defense and be able to win with the defense."

Win with Defense? Did we sign Jim Mora Sr? I though our coach was still Payton. Didn't anybody inform Vilma of that?

I guess it's a concept that's FINALLY coming to New Orleans.... again!
