Yep they bite you in the butt, but they also make trades more likely to happen. Granted you can not trade the comp pick, it does give you a chance to risk other picks in a trade. Next year I am hoping is the time we can cash in on some picks. But I doubt it will amount to much. It takes rebuilding (gutting) a team or your team being very deep in order to cash in. Injuries or two do help.

Is this the latest update? I thought Atlanta added a third also. They have a ton of early picks, so my guess is that the house cleaning will continue there. The good news is they should be absolutely awful again this year, but will probably start turning the corner in '09.

Here's a newer draft order. The comps hurt a little, but there are also 3 supp picks and 2 forfeits, so that saves 5 slots. Rounds 1-3 we are not affected.
