Adrian McPherson update
 

Former Saints draft pick Adrian McPherson is currently the backup quarterback for the Grand Rapids Rampage of the Arena League.

He's the backup to Chad Salisbury, no relation to Sean. McPherson hasn't gotten so much as a phone call from NFL teams lately. He threw 61 TDs and 5 INTs as the AFL's Rookie of the Year in '04, so it looks like he's regressed.

I felt terrible for the kid. He worked really hard to clean up his act and work on his game, and he got run over by a mascot driving a golf cart.

I wonder if he got some kind of settlement for getting run over by the run away golf cart? I remember when I first heard about that I did a spit take I started laughing so hard. That was classic.

i think it was preseason against the titans....i could be wrong, my memory isnt what it used to be

I lost all faith in him when he lined up "under the right guard" in that preseason game.
