devery, trade bait or released?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think that Devery and Meachem are basically fighting for the #2 WR job. I don't think Patten will be our number two WR all year. He might start out #2 but in the end I think Payton will want ...

Why would the loser of the #3 WR battle be cut? Why not cut one of the WRs on the bottom of the depth chart?

Epically since Henderson did not sign for a boat load of money. Every one knows I am not a member of fan club, never have been. But as a three or a 4 his contract is ok. So keeping him would not get me all mad. I would have to buy a few extra beers for the drops and poor blocking. This guy may owe me a part of liver or kidney.

LOL, that is so true! Devery could drive a monk to drink. But yeah, his contract is really cap friendly. I think Dev would be a better fit as a four WR that could come in and make a few big plays in multiple receiver sets.

That is true about TO dropping passes and you cannot ignore Devery's SPEED WHICH KILLS
