Dolphins | Team receiving offers for No. 1 overall pick

Omar Kelly, of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, reports the Miami Dolphins have received trade offers for the top selection in the 2008 NFL Draft, according to general manager Jeff Ireland. Ireland expects more offers to come as the draft approaches, but at the moment the team is prepared to use their No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

Maybe trying to lock in who they want to a contract to ensure that player goes #1.

I don't believe you move up to #1 to snag Dorsey or McFadden. You might as well deal with the Rams or lower.

Actually I just read about the Dolphins press confrence where they hinted they may go D, perhaps trying to get the Saints to talk with them because they may take our guy. LOL. Oh what web we weave.
